There was no way to drive around a guy with a hose who felt it was a good idea to spray down my tires when I was waiting to stage.

First and second were the first.

Remember the second one when I blew 3rd down against the WS6? Right before we left. I think that's what put the final touches on the valves to make it start to crap.

Firestone affinities. You know...the worst tires ever.

And it's an automatic. It'll blow through first like no tomorrow.

Wet brake torque. Didn't think the water would hurt me that much with a 110 track temp. Obviously, I was mistaken.

Hmm, considering I'm in Morrisville, and the connection keeps dropping because of the flood...

I'd say my internet connection is about as reliable as a DSM right now. Of course, that's not fair, considering that Comcast is much faster than a DSM.

My exhaust is supposed to arrive at my house on Thursday, so I'm gonna call Competition Exhaust tomorrow to see if they can weld it on Thursday after work...

Silver Competition is pretty good but I always heard NE exhaust was better. Doesn't the system just bolt on. We could do it up at Pathmark lol

My exhaust manifold and back is already 2.5" but there is a piece right before the axle that downsizes to 2.25" then connects to the muffler. I want to have the 2.25" cut and put on a 2.5" to make the system full 2.5" then need my muffler with a 3" inlet put on. I bought 3" mainly because I'm going to need it in a few months. (whhhoooooosssshhhhh) :rock:

I believe it's 10 to wach and 13 to race. 10 gets you in the gate, but you can't bring your car into the pits. You can walk around them though, and say hey to all your fellow TST'ers!

That race was against Jess!! I looked over when I lined up, see a white eclipse and hear psssssssssshhhhhhhhhh. I'm like OH SNNNEP JESS!! She ended up running a 14.57 @ 103.17 tho (damn traction I guess.. I heard her spinning). By time we reached the finish line I hear/see her pulling HARD. Scared the bejesus outa me lol. Anyways... nice to meet the ppl who were there! Jess... did you hit 13s?

Great Runs Guys. My boy Tony was there watching and was loving Saturns running 14s. Anyway I'm glad both of you ran pretty decent times. Now your going to have to turn that boost up or learn how to drive to hang with the Cutty once the tranny is done. At least I hope I'm in the upper 13s.

Yeah I had a horrible launch that time and I missed second gear when I went up against you. It didn't take me too long to catch up to you though :P

I only got one other run in besides that one. 14.1 at 106 mph. My 60 ft was a 2.4 because I kept trying to ease it off the line to avoid wheel spin/hop through first and second gear, but it didn't work out too well for me. All season 205 tires and open differentials do not mix well with almost 300 whp. But at the mph I'm trapping at... I should be well into the 13's. JJ ran my car once too. He missed third gear and did a 14.1 at 103. His 60 ft wasn't very good either, since he's used to launching awd.

I need to start purchasing things such as suspension / better tires / lsd to help me more with traction. On the way home I floored it in third gear and the tires broke loose. It's funny how that can be a good and bad thing all at the same time. I have a pair of slicks, I just need to get rims for them.

100 miles on the clutch..92oct. in the tank and 23 psi. didn't all mix real well starting missing in 3rd. haha. 14.1@68...on the brakes. I let the srt-4 catch up he ran a 14.1 at 100mph. I called it quits after that. FWD sucks it really does take some skill to make a good pass. Running mine and running Jess's are 2 completely different cars. And she needs a short shifter. lol.
