Today I got my new car. It is a 1974 Plymouth Valiant with a 318, the odometer reads about 17,000 miles and I dont have a reason to believe it turned over. This thing is a creampuff, factory undercoating and no rust at all. The only thing that has been done to it is a dual exhaust and a repaint sometime. Even the emission stuff is still hooked up. This thing is so slow it cant get out of its own way and handles like its on marshmallows. I should pick it up on tuesday.

Looks pretty clean. Older cars are always a lot of fun to work with. I feel the have a lot more character than some of these newer cars on the road.

I'm going to go with a Hellwig tubular 1-1/8" front sway bar.
Its registered historically so I can take all the smog crap off anyway, but its doing no harm right now so I'm keeping it. All it is is an EVAP system and EGR, no cat 75 was the first year for cats.

Nice to see something different. With that low of miles and its current condition, I wouldn't mod it either. Enojy the ride.

I drove it home today, an hour drive. The car ran flawlessly. It still has the original hoses and belts.
Look what I found between the seat.
