Well after fitting of wheels, rolling of fenders, a fixed sundroof, and a douchebag trying to open my hood the wrong way, its about time for paint again. The car has a lot of bondo on it-- however it doesnt need it... My guess is it just got layered on throughout all the years. So I want to sand through as much as possible to drop weight, reduce waves and caves, and so that i dont chunk off bondo like i did now lol.

Just so you guys know whats going on---

This is not a showcar!
It is my daily driver.
I wanted limited turnaround time.
I will be going to maaco.

The maaco job comes that 10-42 Adam on here has a great relationship with a Maaco, and I trust their work. That and they did a great job the first time. If you ever want something done in the DE region-- go there.

Anyway- the car was painted there the first time so its happening again. This isnt a debate thread...I drive my car too many miles to worry about the paint.

What I need is a guide to prep--- What grits to use when--- so that I can take as much of the prep work out of the hands of the body shop as possible. I have searched a bit around some other forums and have not found that end all resource that I like to work from. So If anyone has a link for me that would be great.
