View Full Version : NNJR SCCA is holding a ProSolo 5/20-22

Just read that NNJR got the green light to hold a ProSolo event at the Meadowlands, May 20-22, 2011. More info to come.

I doubt we'll be there to run since we are slow, maybe to watch or volunteer.

I'm not sure if I'll make it. A friend is getting married that day.

Philly is hosting a Pro Solo at Dover Raceway on 6/4. I think I could definitely make that one.

Registered for the NJ Pro.

The Dover event is not a Pro, it's a Tour event. Registration should open this week for anyone interested.

Pro = Drag style starts with head to head runs on mirrored (or as close as possible) courses. Best time on left and right side from sat or sunday are added for total time. Class winners go to the challenge (think bracket racing for autox). Very cool to watch, so if you can make it out on Sunday you'll want to stick around for it.

Tour = Normal solo runs on two courses. One course sat, one on sunday. Best time on each is added for total time.

You've got your work cut out for you in ESP...not from me though. I have a wedding to attend :)

I know two guys personally, Josh in the LGT and Adam in the FXT. They're both damn good drivers.

You also have Strano and Karen Krauss to contend with.

Wait, Strano in his 11' GT is leaving FStock for ESP now? :bigeek:

Not too worried about the Subaru guys. :cool:

Even if you are not racing at the Pro, stop buy to watch it is fun seeing 2 cars leave on the lights and running mirrored courses.

Congrats on the win Eric, saw Dan got you by .036 after the combine couldn't ask for a more consistent pair of drivers. Taking 1 and 2 is awesome.
