Many people mindlessly fill their tires with regular old breathing air not knowing the benefits that can be seen by filling up with Nitrogen instead!

The Benefits of nitrogen inflation are:

-3 to 6 percent proven increase in gas milage
-extended tire life
-better retention of pressure
-increased safety from blowouts due to under inflation (great benefit for those that don't regularly check and inflate their tires)
-increased TPMS performance
-more consistent fluctuation from cold to hot tires. Huge benefit for auto crossers and road racers. Spend less time adjusting pressures!
-less wheel corrosion due to moisture in the air charge

The benefits come from the reduction of oxygen and water vapor in the air charge. Water vapor leaks out of your tires 250 times faster then Nitrogen. Oxygen leaks out 4-5 times faster then Nitrogen. By eliminating those gasses from the fill up you maintain consistent and accurate pressures much much longer.

Nitrogen is the largest gas particle in air and therefor escapes your tires much more slowly compared to the other particles. A higher percentage of nitrogen allows the benefits listed above.

Nitrogen tire inflation is just one of the many services we offer here at R/T Tuning to compliment our service and alignment divisions. This is a service that local road racers, club racers, autoXers, and drifters all rely on us for.

nitrogen expands and contracts less with temperature correct?

^^ Yes sir... its a a pure gas with less expansion and contraction with temperature. It also doesn't contain moisture so it also helps with inner wheel corrosion...

Great service for those of you about to put your winter tires on the car for the snow season. No one wants to be out filling their tires in the freezing weather. Nitrogen will maintain your set tire pressure much better then a regular air fill.
