I bought the car back in June of this year off of my uncle. He had the car since he was 16 and bought it from my aunt. She was the original owner. So after picking the car up for $1,000, I knew i had some work ahead of me. However, my big plans of coilovers, rims, and some other "classy" mods were put on hold when the car decided to die on me one night before heading to a meet.
So the after pulling it home with my K5, the "diagnostics" began. I replaced the fuel pump and sending unit with a VR4 TT pump and replaced the coil packs. Still Nothing. After wasting a lot of money and time, i decided to bring it over to a shop and have them diagnose it. They told me it was the ECU, so I went to Ground Zero Performance in Easton, PA and Hans hooked me up with a 94 ECU. Lets just say i had to show the shop how to install a computer, and it didnt fix the car. So then the shop said, its the MFI relay. I went out to Ground Zero again and came back with an MFI relay. The car started when it was installed and i drove her home.
Later that night, on my way out of my neighborhood, it cut out again. Got it towed to another shop and he concluded it was the Crank Angle Sensor. The repair cost: $1,000. No way. I called Hans from Ground Zero one more time and decided to have him look at it himself. After a day of diagnostics, he concluded that the fuse, 5 cents, that controlled the ECU was blown. 4 months of watching a car sit all for a blown ECU fuse.
The car is finally running and work will finally begin. Follow Along.

The car is running, but on the way back from the shop, it started to get real rough and studdery. It felt like the car was running on 3 out of the 6 cylinders and sounded like an STi boxer engine under acceleration. Bad. Looks like its going back to Ground Zero to diagnose this one. Seems like a Throttle Position Sensor after doing some research, we'll see...

The car is going back to Ground Zero today. Lets see what Hans finds as the problem.

Car still isnt back from Ground Zero, but gauges are going on order this weekend for the center cluster.
60mm Glow Shift Elite 10 Color Series

Got the car back from Hans today. He replaced the Plugs/Wires and Throttle Position Sensor. Car runs like a dream. And she has all of her power back. Well, enough to keep up on the back fender of a cammed 85 Trans Am and a stock 87 Trans am...

Edit: 2/3/2011
Picked up these Rims for the car this spring. Also got a custom Flowmaster Exhaust built that sounds amazing. Its like a cross between a g35 and 350z, but has a very deep rumble at idle.
You may recognize the rims from Evan's Kouki S14.
17x9 and 17x10.5 Cobra R Rims

Here are some pics. Test fitted them and everything is good. however they are not going on the car until the Ksport/Megan Racing/BC Coilovers...I havent decided what i want yet. lol
I also ordered EBC Slotted Rotors and Pads, they should be here within a week or 2 and I'm bringin her down to Shades of Gray over spring break.

Looks great. It needs a drop bad, though. Also, you should put the stock wing back on. Nice pickup.
