Spy photos Area1320 twin scroll manifold

Here are some spy photos of a twin scroll manifold that we are designing and testing. This manifold will be strictly for t4 flanges turbos aka Big boy turbos.

1.5" sch10 piping and laser cut 1/2" thick stainless flanges completely equal length.

We hired a new fab monkey named Tucker a few weeks ago and so far he has been doing great! So look for more crazyness coming out of the shop soon!

The RS will be the test dummy. I don't know how well my bottom end will like 500whp but we will find out. There are a lot of t3 flanged kits out there but nothing for big turbos. ;)

That thing is awesome, but looking at all that tubing makes my head spin. Has anyone ever tried to mount a turbo under the block where all of that space for the headers is?

It's been done and in fact the new legacys have that lower turbo stock! Check out the new gt's it's pretty cool. With the impress motors you lose about 3 inches of clearance due to the timing covers and such. So there really isn't that much of a space. The tubing made all of our heads spin. There is about 10-12 feet if tubing in there lol. Schedule 10 piping is heavy, thick, bulletproof and damn expensive to boot!

Matt- hopefully within the next week or so. It has to get installed so we can find a spot for the 2 wastegates. It's gonna be tight shoes in there.

its done.. looks just like above but welded. Project is on hold for the moment so no new pics.


the manifold doesn't hang any lower than any of the popular manifolds out there.. and in fact there is more room towards the subframe than anyone elses too... so no more cutting the front subframe because your header hits it :)

Whenever the wagon goes back in for the center diff fix....it's coming out with a twin scroll. Just you wait and see.

I think I left work at like 4:00pm. Tried calling 2-3 times and decided ham and cheesy amazingness was less of a gamble then showing up at the shop.

I'm starting my new NNJ work season Wednesday so I'll be off of work by 2 or 3pm three or four days a week. So...you'll be seeing a lot more of me again haha
