yeah. . .probably the farthest thing from a car question, but it's something I've been wondering for a while.
Where does the law stand on dumpster diving? I understand that there's no implication of privacy in a public dumpster, therefore it's not an invasion of privacy to dig through said dumpster (according to some court cases I came across online). . .but is there any other law against someone rooting through a dumpster in hopes of finding some choice garbage?
