I am trying to get floor mats from a vw dealer. I have an 2004 passat they are telling me that it is an B5 but I thought it was a B5.5 can someone help clear this up for me. I would appreciate it.

It is a B5...the B5.5 is a term to describe a passat who has newer B5 facelift.

What is more important if you have oval or round retention clips for floormats.

I have oval. But the dealer is telling me that is impossible. What year was the B5.5 made
