its a d16y7 so its a non vtec motor

ok so so i noticed that when i get into first from a stop the car bogs a lot till 2600 rpm then clears up a little threw second but not as much. when im making a turn and shift into second i usually wait until i get out of the turn to let go of the clutch and get back on the gas and so i do that and it bogs like crazy until the point were it doesnt go anywhere clears up around 2500 but by then people are honking at me getting mad. and then when i come to a stop the car will idle at about 1100 then drop to 700 800 and idle pretty rough. the car smells like its running pretty rich, ok so i found out that my car has a step down harness to a p28 vtec ecu and i was like oh my car is a non vtec i started guessing thats why it was running rich. i had a ls ecu laying around so i threw it in there and there started running good but i guess the ignition timing is a little so it struggles here and there but not as bad as it was before but as i was switching the ecu i noticed there was an orange wire that was cut and i opended up the p28 computer and smelled something was burnt and i looked and there was something on the board that was burnt

this is the ecu the part that is burnt is the red circle

my question is

is it ok to run the car with the ls ecu?

what is the orange wire?

and also is the ecu done? like it can it be fixed?

ECU is done.

LS ECU kind of works, I really wouldn't run it on it though the timing is way off. Just get a stock P2E ECU and get rid of the stupid harness. How heavily is the car modded anyway?!

As for the orange wire, you can find the answer on Honda-tech. I can't see which pin it's coming out of so I can't answer that question for you.

Sell it, buy a car that doesn't need motor swaps to not suck as much.

i found out it was the iacv valve wire and people cut it when they do mini me swaps im guessing the old owner had one in it before and blew it or something.

can the ecu be fixed?

and another thing i put in the ls ecu with the step down harness and the idle fluctuates from 1100 to 1500 4 times then stops and idles at about 1100 then sometimes it feels like its about to die
