So the only threads I could find where from 4-5 years on this subject and they where not in the Toyota section so i figured I'd start a new one. And try to get this section bumping. I know there are a bunch of supra owners here now so let's see them.


I'll start off with mine It's a 84 celica supra with 130,000 Stock 5mge for now. I have owned it for about 4 months now. its needs a little body work but over all its in good shape. This is the second MkII I have owned I also had a MKIII

Nice supras fellas. Sorry I haven't been watching my own thread. glad to see some more in the area. I am really intrested in getting a supra meet/show together. I might have a location available to us in cherry hill very soon.

Nice Supras, guys! I always had a soft spot for the MkII's and still do. I almost owned a brand new MkIII turbo but made a huge mistake and bought a new turbo Eclipse instead...it was OK but it was no Supra. Finally got my '95 TT about 10 years ago and still a happy owner. Besides the meet to be organized in this thread, you guys should all try to make it to the 9th Annual CF Benefit Car Show in Dublin PA on Sept 19th...great cause, very nice show and we're trying to have a HUGE Supra turnout ...all gens would be so cool.

So anyone have a set of stock MKIV chrome wheels they're willing to part with? The ones on this MKIV aren't the nicest.

I had two sets of stock wheels, the originals for the street and a second set with R compounds for the track, neither chrome ...I don't like chrome. But I sold one set a couple years ago and won't sell the original set that came with my car.

Thanks, I wetsanded and buffed the entire car but it's still not as clean as it looks in the picture. The targa was dropped by a shop that should have never taken the targa off so it's got some little dents and scratches. The mirrors and wing have chips in the paint and the door handles need paint too. Also, the wheels and calipers are getting re-finished over the winter.

My two sons are getting old enough now (15 & 16yo) that they'd rather do their own thing with their friends than go to car shows with me. That might change when they get their own cars some day. I consider the twin GT2860's sort of a surrogate substitute for the two boys but the twin turbos are more fun and less trouble :wink:

Since I posted on page 1, I have this new Seibon front lip (custom duct work directs air from the lip under the FMIC to the radiator and oil cooler...seems to work great based on oil temps after a few hard laps) and the two little side vents are for air to my front rotors, plus the last pic is with my new track wheels, 18" CCW LM5's with Toyo R888's 285/30F and 315/30R

I'm pretty sure Ken Henderson replied to your post on SF with a comment something to the effect of letting him know if your car is for sale and please stop increasing the selling price... Haha! Ken and I go way back. He has right of 1st refusal - but the car is not for sale. It's not where I want it to be...but its getting closer. I was enjoying the ice cold a/c the other day ;) My guys at VAC Motorsports bled the 4 wheel BBK properly, so it actually stops well now. Need to sort a few nagging issues this next month or so...oh joy!

HotSoup, stay in touch with the threads about it and we'll see how many step up to go. It will be a great show, it always has been for 9 years already. You should be able to find pics from previous years to give you a better idea. The Supra turnout in the last couple years is growing and we're hoping for a record this year. But if I was 4 hrs away, I'm not sure what I'd do since that's a major haul. Do you have any friends or family down closer to this way that you could stay with the night before?

Drift Alliance will be there so some of the best drifters in the world will be tearing it up. They'll be drifting till 10pm Saturday night, then the party gets started and everyone camps out trackside. The drifting continues Sunday but I'll be waking up and heading to the CF show that morning with Trista. So... if anyone else wants to hit up both events let me know, its going to be a good weekend :)
