So yea I got a new bird. I got it as a birthday gift from a friend of mine. She is 2 years old and how original of a name its called bird haha. I might call her something different but its been called bird for 2 years and trained that way so yea. Anyway she's about 12 inches long right now and super pretty. Already trained, super nice and best of all SHE TALKS! I coughed the other night holding her and she mimicked me coughing. When you sneeze she also "sneezes", its super cool. Here is a picture of another Yellow Nape Amazon mine looks pretty close to it. They are the most smartest and talkitive birds. As I said already this ones trained talks and stuff already.

Once I actually get it home since the weather is a little to cold at night right now to get it, I will take pictures of it at my house to show everyone. I can't wait to get it home. I've been non stop reading about the bird for 3 days now. Let me know what you think.

i work at a bird store and have 3 birds.... :)

I've worked at Schults Bird Farm and Todd Marcus Birds Exotic for a combined
2.5 years now so any questions u have Dex just ask me I can answer pretty
much anything....

Be wary of what books say, they're often generalizations and are sometimes off-base

Yea it shouldn't be hard to teach it either. Since the thing is known as the most intelligent and talketive bird. I can't wait to sit there and have a full fledge conversation with her its gonna rock :supz: :supz:

LoL Agreed that bird was insane always has been. She thought she could tame it :) didn't happen though when I went over the bird was all calm. Anyway to answer the one question its 2 years old, no pictures yet I'm HOPING AND PRAYING tomorrow I can bring it home. Weather will be warm enough and Cassie will have off from work. I can't wait to get her she's so beautiful.
