Do they do installations? Precision @ Brick has not answered their phone all week and I'm getting annoyed.

i know you're pretty handy with your car, so what are you looking to get installed?
maybe try emailing precision... never heard that they are hard to get ahold of before.
or maybe you and i can tackle the project together ;)... i'm curious as to what it is.

rallispec DOES do installations and from what i hear, they do excellent work which is probably the reason why from what i remember they are ALLWAYS backed up on installs. IIRC, several people over on nasioc have had engine / tranny swaps done by them but have had to wait in excess of 6-8 months for their installations to take place.

another good shop for installs is Autospeed in cinnaminson NJ. you can find them at:

www.autospeedperformance.com

Don't take it to Rallispec, they are horrible, believe me. He is a one man shop, that is why he is so backed up. They have one lady who does the booking. Believe me that he knows nothing and is terrible at tunning, installing, and just a horrible person, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!!!

Gee, tell us how you REALLY feel. :furious:

just curious as to why you say they are so bad. I personally know of at least 3 people whom have all had work done by rallispec (engine work & tuning)and each have had very good results. do you have a specific instance you are speaking of? or is this just what you have heard?

just curious.

Yeah, I thought they tuned your EcuTek, D? Not happy with their tune?

I have heard bad things about them too, but I ordered my lights through them without any problems...well then did ship them in a Colman Portable Generator's box..but that's it.

Do you know this from personal experiance? I know many people who have had major work done by them and have nothing but good things to say. I don't know where you could have got this information.. I would trust them before anyone to work on a suby .there is 2 guys there and they only do big jobs. so yes there is always a wait to have work done . but there is a reason why people are willing to wait.

EDIT: Comment served no purpose, didn't want it to be known publicly.

Well that does suck and I understand where you are coming from, but it is one incident.
i know plenty of people that would still vouch for them.. there are people on here that have had complete engine, tranny swaps with custom piping and tune that were very happy . one of the cars was in sport compact car. do a search on nasioc most people are very happy with them.

I know Ralph had his turbo kit made and put on his RS by Rallispec and was very happy with them.

Heh, you could call Rallispec, but you won't get in there any faster either. What are you looking to have installed?
I know Ralph had his turbo kit made and put on his RS by Rallispec and was very happy with them. The previous owner had it done there...along with the TEC-II and everything else the car had. They also did my transmission, which was the only one to last in my posession. I'm not really sure if tuning is their thing though.

I understand, one bad expierience doesn't make them a bad shop and your right. If you read my post I didnt want it to be know publicly but people wanted to know, and thats it. I didnt change anyones minds or put up a thread bashing them, so it aint a big deal. I just won't go back, I found a new tuner which is far advanced and I am going to stick with him. No it wasn't an hks and no its not a stock turbo. Also, look above I edited my original post and took out my whole speel, I'd wish you would take it out so others do not get influenced by my feelings for the company. Thanks.

you could try xotic motorsports in PA. Its only about 30min or less from the airport and andy(the owner) def knows what he is doing. Although if i was you i would wait for Rich or his buffer to answer the phone since that is the best shop i've had work done at.
