hey, i dont think its appropriate to sticky since thats reserved for large functions and only happens every now and again. feel free to keep the thread active though and towards the top of the list on your own (within reason of course).
ask the promoter if he needs a photographer for the event, i've shot stuff like this before in the past and its fun...

There will be plenty of House / Trance played there that night. You guys all know I spin Trance or Drum N Bass... I just got asked to spin DnB that night... Sorry! I really hope to see some TST people there though. I'll have some surprises in my set though hehehe... ever heard a DJ mix trance into a DnB set... and actually make it work!? muhahahaha!

Ok, I've been working on the set the past few days... sampling what tracks I want to include. I only have an hour, so it's hard to fit in a lot of the stuff I want. I have it down to a science almost where I'm able to take the drum n bass and break into a trance song... and it sounds REDICULOUS! SO, TRANCE HEADS, I promise NOT to disappoint... just keep your mind open to Drum n Bass and all will be ok :) Hope to see you all out there.

Indeed it's still on! Try to be there by 9:30 to catch the opening of my set. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to mix trance into my set - as that is what will be played on the main stage. DnB stage is DnB only but I promise not to dissappoint! It would really mean a lot to me if you guys stayed in the DnB room for my whole set to show support :)

Does anyone have ties or connections to a place we could rent out that would hold 300-400 people? If not, does anyone know of any local places we could rent for this event and how much would we be looking at if we needed it from... say.... 9pm - 3am?

if you guys need help let me know. i had a weekly for 2 years and have thrown a allot of raves even one at gods basement.

I think it would be really cool to have a car show/ party in fairmount park during the day. There used to be a monthly party there that was really fun. It was called "Hang Free" maybe you've been there? it's cool because you don't have to pay.

You just need a generator and turntables. I have some DJ friends that would spin too. you've probably heard of them. This would give us an idea of what we can pull and get organized, so we can throw a bigger party at a club/space later.

Need a volunteer to design a flyer as well.

wow Allentown might be a little far cause most of us live right by the burlington bristol bridge. I think the idea of a fire hall is good start but I don't know if they'll let us 1 Keep it that late and 2 allow us to play loud music like that. I could be completely wrong.

we just need speakers. i have a 1000 watt amp, turntables, mixer. if anyone has a pioneer mixer i would prefer that. maybe a portable rack or table for the decks. let me know.
