rough choppy idle in my b18b1

im new to the hondas but i love them but my idle is reallly choppy and rough like it sounds like its cammed and when the fluids get warm it will just shut off if i dont keep it running any suggestions cause i really need to fix this! thanks Andrew

Does it run decent when its cold?

no its the same like it wont turn off though like the idle will be high and like sticky cause the cable is kinda bent so im not sure

Well Id start with fixing that. Then maybe clean the IACV.

yeah def and im prolly gonna go buy some parts cleaner and it clean it out but do you think it could be the tps sensor or maybe the fast idle thermo valve cause i might just replace all of them maybe not sure

If so i would Close off the FITV, clean out the IACV. Get a throttle cable that isnt bent. And then see if the symptom remains.

alright thanks guys im goin top go take it out and clean it and what should i do about the jerking that it does. cause i think thats from the cable maybe

my cousin had that prob in his gsr. turned out it was a malfunctioning iavc..also we replaced the fuel filter and cleaned the throttle body before replacing iavc
