1992 Talon Tsi AWD- does have 180k on the odo. Is the redish wine color if you will. i believe its a automatic. does need the tranny rebuilt, and needs a gasket because its burning up a small amount of oil. So all he said was every now and then he has to add a little oil nothing completely major though

1000 OBO, would be great for a drivetrain swap because the car is otherwise mint. Also needs a serp belt, has new timing belt cover, and a few others

actually if built right I hear the automattics are really good. Just need to be built properly :)

Just the transmission work. The engine is fixed now and runs proper.

Over the weekend I was able to take a good look at it.

Compression numbers were in the 120s with oil in the coolant. The valve seals are shot and the turbo makes boost but is cracked up pretty good. The exhaust is also split right before the muffler. Left and right outer cv boot is torn. Something else makes noise up front as well when the car is moving, possible wheel bearing. Right inner tie rod and ball joint is shot. Left inner and outer tie rod is shot with possible balljoint problems. Gas tank probably rubs on the trunk floor since the hump was flattened out. According to the owner the tranny slips every once in a while and has problems shifting unless it is shifted manually.
