I thought this would be a cool idea, people post up what they wear and what their style is. I'm curious about what everyone wears.
I'll start the ball rolling
I'm big on hats, I usually base my outfits off of my hats:
Almost every MLB team, I refuse to buy the Yankees and Mets hats though

In my quick scroll through the pictures, I saw someone who owns Ed Hardy. I died a little bit on the inside.
I'm a denim jeans (or denim shorts or denim skirts) and high heeled boots or dress shoes kinda gal. Sneakers if I'm lazy. Shirts are usually low cut and solid colors. They're usually grey, white or black. I'm pretty boring.
Generally, I refuse to wear pink or purple or anything too girly looking.

If you're still in high school it's the cool thing to wear. Well, Abercrombie was the big thing at my school. I still have tons of clothes from that store.
From a marketing standpoint, those brands are pretty smart. They create a party scene in their stores--dim lights, loud music with a fast heavy beat, and a lot of good looking people. I read that they even tell their employees to act like the cool kid at a party, so that customers feel intimidated and therefore are less likely to ask for service.
Besides that the customers are walking billboards, and since all the cool kids in high school wear it others who want to fit in will buy it too.

I'm young, but not quite that young.
Honestly, my ex bought most of it. She graduated HS right after we started dating, so should explain it pretty much.
Like I said, trying to start working away from it. But it's hard to build a wardrobe overnight.

Hmm... during the summer im usually in a long black T, khaki cargo shorts, and a pair of J's, or forces. Sometimes i switch it up with a polo n cargo shorts n flip flops.
Winter is button down, sweater, and either khakis or denim.
I have more suits in my closet than most people my age should.

Quoting this for the truth, my brother used to work at hollister and they literally told him to pretty much do exactly what you said, act cool and make the customer feel inferior. He told me the first day he worked there was like hell. He sat there and folded shirts and didn't help anybody because they told him not to help too much. Silly popular clothing companies

Im really picky when it comes to cloths, and alot of people say i only wear red white black and sometimes grey, so im trying to add color, il post pics when i get back from vacation but its mostly Express shirts, almost always wearing jeans, i dont really like shorts, Air 1's all day every day, never leave home with out a watch on, and then ive got some other shiny stuff, track jackets for when its cold. not a guido and i hate all that jersey shore bull**** lol.

Yeah. In the same article I read that sales were going down for Hollister and Abercrombie. One wouldn't think that walking through South Jersey .
I can't imagine working there. It'd probably be so boring. There's an interesting dichotomy at these stores. You'll notice that the not so attractive employees either work in the back or work the slow hours where there isn't a lot of mall traffic, like when school is in session. And I see some guys who work there who I know only sought out the job to be in that crowd and around the hot girls. It's the same kid who dressed the part in high school but wasn't included. Go to one and you'll see who I'm talking about haha.
Anyway, I still retain all of my Abercrombie stuff. The shirts do fit nicely and shape the physique for both boys and girls. I just don't agree with the giant "ABERCROMBIE" lettering across my chest, but I'll rock a moose

This thread has made me realize how much I need to go out and get new clothes... LOL
I usually wear blue jeans, or some other type of khaki that I have different colors of. I also have dickies shorts in black and gray... Most of the time I pick out of these 2 drawers. Random colors, random graphic tees, and stuff.

Then if i'm going to go somewhere nice, I pick out of the closet. Button up tees, polos, long sleeves... sweatshirts are in there too.

I have the same problem. My Hollister stuff fits me REALLY well, I just can't stand the stupid HCO printed all over everything.
As for getting a job at Hollister. I was this | | close to getting one there for like weekends or something. Just to meet girls for ****s and giggles. Still might do it, but now that I cut my hair they may not be begging me to come in anymore lol.
(if you have never seen me, think of what you'd think a California surfer dude looks like, and that was me lol)
