So today I'm at work and im outside just hanging out. I work at a car dealership. A mexican guy sees me and asks me questions about mazda rx8's. Hes looking for parts we get to talking and he asks what i drive and i tell him civic he goes "oh mang that thing fast huh" I told him no not at all after i tell him that he asks. "does that thing have vtec mang" I told him yeah and is face lit up like:eek: and he was like what mang you have vtec?! it has to be fast. lol Pretty much thats where i ended the conversation after a mexican with an rx8 saying how he loves vtec. LOL

Not really. Most of the ones I dealt with in my past spoke really terrible English and had no clue what they drove when asking for auto parts. I told a guy seriously...you do not know what you're driving? He just starred at me like I had 3 heads...:eek:

if your rpm's were going faster after vtec, then the car would have to be accelerating faster.... unless of course, the tires were spinning.:roll:

Ill agree that VTEC on a stock car isnt much to be impressed over... throw a set of cams in a B-Series though, and VTEC suddenly becomes THE ****.

I REAAAAALLLY want to get a 5spd CR-V and do a B20VTEC on it, slam it, and throw on some low offset concave 15's. Badass practical daily.

I may end up doing this, but I might want to use a B18B and a snail instead. :cool:
