My Saturn tried to kill me.

On the way home from one of the Richboro meets on Bustleton behind the Buck hotel area I realized I was doing about 40mph and decided to slow down a bit.

I hit the brakes as the car was cresting a small hill and the front end of the car veered off to the right as the back end popped up a little and tried to break left essentially trying to spin the car around.

That really freaked me out since I've never had a car do that to me before.

This is a 05 Saturn ION level 2 that is completely bone stock with 16" alloy wheels and V rated tires.

Maybe I should lower it a little, lol.

I cut the springs in my first DSM and that made it bouncy. Although I cut the springs in my buddies Celica and his car still rode fine. I'm going to guess cutting the springs in the Saturn is not going to be good, lol.

Saturns are HORRIBLE if you cut the springs. Get a set of springs there like 150 I believe

My friend's 3000GT was fine when he cut the springs. Some cars don't take well to them.

Some of it depends on the quality of the shocks/struts. My DSM with cut springs and stock KYB struts bounced. Gabriels, Monros, KYB GR-2s all couldn't handle the cut springs. Only the Konis made the car ride nice again. Of course now the DSM has Konis with ST springs up front and GABs with coil overs in the rear.

I cut the springs on my buddies 90 something Honda Accord and it bounced, too. He switched to ST springs and the car was fine.

Only my buddies 92 Celica rode fine on cut springs. I suppose the stock struts on the Celica were of much better quality than what was on the other cars.

As for the Saturn, I'll just drive slower, lol.
