Im helpin a friend who has a 2010 gti and is starting to do work to it and turned to me for help, but I know nothing specific when it comes to VW's...
Can anyone guide me to a thread or forum that can help. He was looking at the "revo" chip in particular but I told him to hold off bc theres so many ways to go.
Particularly i suggested holding off on any type of premapped untunable chip bc if he continues to mod, it'll be better to get a piggyback unit and have it tuned to the specs of his mods.
Thanks guys.

looks pretty good to me haha. Are there any good vw/gti based forums I can direct him too? And thanks for the quick response, I see you in Ambler from time to time which is why I reached out to you in particular...

vwvortex is usually a good source I would usually stay away from the car forums(unless going into the DIY thread) and stick to the tech forum or anything else :P
idk if there are any specific 2010 forums out there yet but there might be, like mymk5.com or wtvr. I would just search google, shouldn't be too hard to find something. I still say vortex is probably best bet.
yeah I drive around a bunch :P... stupid exhaust is hitting the tunnel so it rattles . I need some good motor mounts etc now.

Numbers aren't everything big difference in feel driving between softwares. Highest number HP cars on the graph don't always win the race.
If you plan to change turbos ever Unitronic usually has the best (only option, IMO) options for that...
