so after selling my sti, we were left with just one car for a few months. my wife and i wanted to get a small suv, that would still be fun to drive and somewhat handle like a car. We also wanted something affordable and comfortable for long trips back home. After test driving some xc90's, lexus rx, and a few other small suv's we settled on a 3.0 liter x3. Handles almost like a car and is equipped with a 6 speed manual transmission. Its has every option available except navigation and hid's.

Call me crazy but i will be doing a little modding

waiting to arrive at my door is the bmw portable navigation dash kit but instead of using the bmw portable nav unit made by garmin i ordered the garmin nuvi 285wt, with the bmw kit the unit is hard wired and will interrupt the radio when it speaks just like the factory one.
